People with bad credit can also go for unsecured cards, which do not requirethem to make a deposit but they will  to charge you high fees that, over time, will add up to more than what you are meant to deposit on a secured card. Open Card secured Visa credit card

TheOpenSky® Secured Visa® Credit Card, unlike other secured cards, do not require a credit check, so people who have badly damaged credit may qualify although you will still be required to meet other income standards.  Also you don’t need a bank account, and this differentiates this card from the others. It allows youmakeyour deposit and pay your bill using wire transfer, debit card, check or money order. However, the card charges an annual fee and you can not upgrade to an unsecured card.

Discover it secured

The Discover itSecured card is one of the best credit card available for people who have bad credit. You are not required to pay an annual fee Not and it also gives rewards of 2% cash back when you spend up to $1,000 per quarter on restaurants and gas, and about 1% on others. You can be allowed to upgrade to an unsecured card if you maintain a good record for eight months. However, the initial deposit must be paid using a bank account, therefore if you do not have access to traditional banks, you may not be approved.

DCU visa Platinumsecured credit card

Their APR is cheaper than what is obtainable in other Secured and unsecured cards. They do not charge annual feeand there are cash advance or balance transfer fees. Just like in other secured cards, you have to make a security deposit which is equal to your credit limit.You must be a member of Digital Federal Credit Union before you can apply for this and there are a number of ways to become a member.

Green Dot Primor Visa Gold secured Credit card

The Green Dot primor® Visa® Gold Secured Credit Card, unlike the other credit cards for people who have bad credit, offers a lower rate. Their rates are also lower than what you will find on a lot of products for people who have good credit. You won’t be charged any penalty for making a late payment and the cards  can allow for credit line as big as $5000 if you want to make cash deposit.

They charge an annual fee of $49 which is high for secured cards.
